The Government of Tanzania is on a drive for an industrialized Tanzania and this forum will assist to address and push Kahama’s micro businesses to achieve this goal. I would like to thank AccessBank for creating these opportunities and I look forward to being invited to the next forum.

The Chief Business Officer – Mr. Prosper Gwemella also noted that, “Facilitated by the global spread of Mobile Phones, Agents (Wakala’s), ATM’s – it bridges some of the gaps by expanding access to financial services to hard-to-reach communities and small businesses at a low cost. Technology is the way forward and a faster solution – and in some situations can be counterproductive to initiatives by bring financial services to banked and unbanked customers. This forum will also educate you with the right understanding and know-how on growing your business operations in the long-run. The next forum we are planning on conducting will be held in Mbeya. We look forward to an increased partnership with our clients.”

The forum was organized in partnership with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Mr. Eric Crispin who is AccessBank’s business trainer for the forums explained, “We all pay taxes, but it is very important to manage your books so that the tax man understands your business cash-flow. These few important elements contribute immensely to business management”. For AccessBank these trainings provide a platform to promote good leadership within your business as well as your personal lives. Seize these opportunities and make them work for you.”

Invited clients shared their appreciation by thanking AccessBank and also praised AccessBank’s efforts for considering them through this training on how to run a business effectively while also saving for their future.
